More of a non-sighting this one... This morning I was doing a bird survey in the northern half of Bedelands Farm Nature Reserve, and the strange thing is that I did not see any blackbirds. In fact the only members of the thrush family that I saw or heard were one song thrush and one fly over in woods that I did not get an ID on. I hope that this means that they are all very sensibly in our gardens feasting on the food that we provide. Mike Beard
