The number of butterflies counted during our regular weekly walk at Bedelands Reserve was 100. Nine  people enjoyed the walk.  (Because of commitments covering other parts of the Green Circle this was our last time with Sandra Solly and Barbara Allen. Both had been present at the start of these walks for over 10 years and their help and enthusiam has been remarkable.)  Our grateful thanks to them both. Butterflies recorded:  Large White (1), Small White (7) & Green Veined White (1), Green Hairstreak (3), Small Copper (9), Common Blue (76), Peacock (1) and Speckled Wood (2).  Also recorded were Burnet Companion (400), Cinnabar (3) and thousands, literally like snowflakes, of the Grass Rivulet.
