General: This site of 5 hectares, owned by Mid Sussex District Council, lies to the west of Burgess Hill, adjacent to Jane Murray Way and Malthouse Lane.  It comprises meadows and hedgerows and is adjacent to an ancient bridlepath and ancient woodland (in private ownership).  The Leisure Path ceases  at this point but Pangdean Lane can be followed to Gatehouse Lane.   The Green Circle will be continued northwards from here, beyond the A2300, then adjacent to Sussex Way in a year or two when the landowners, Mid Sussex District Council, open the site to the public.
